Sunvillas is seven privately operated two-bedroom apartments in the Hua Hin Blue Lagoon resort compound — the same gated, five-star grounds as the Sheraton, wrapped around a 1.25 kilometre lagoon. We've been welcoming guests here since 2012.
Each suite is one hundred and forty-eight square metres of open living: a proper western kitchen, a dining table for six, a private terrace overlooking the water, and two full en-suite bedrooms. Most of our guests are long-stay retirees from Europe who return year after year — and short-stay families who come for the lagoon. We know the regulars by name.
The idea is simple: come to Hua Hin and enjoy it with room to breathe — cook a proper meal, spread out, swim before breakfast — instead of being cramped in a hotel room. And because we run the place ourselves, the stay is personal: your deposit comes back in cash on checkout, and you have a direct line to the manager rather than a front-desk ticket number.

Real swimming, not just a dip.
The lagoon snakes 1.25 kilometres through the entire resort compound — deep enough to swim proper lengths, shaded in sections by tropical planting, with a children's pool in front of Building S9. You can walk to the beach through the resort grounds in about eight minutes — a little more or less depending which building you're in.

We're outside central Hua Hin — and that's part of the appeal.
Sunvillas is about halfway between Cha-Am and Hua Hin town, which is why the lagoon is so quiet and the beach so uncrowded. Central Hua Hin is about 15 minutes by car.

Our suites are large and we air-condition them properly. Each apartment has two 36,000 BTU units cooling the open-plan living and dining area, plus an 18,000 BTU unit in each of the two bedrooms — four units total, real comfort.
Rather than build an average into the nightly rate — which would punish guests who use air-con lightly and reward guests who leave it blasting when they leave the apartment — we meter electricity separately at THB 7 per kilowatt-hour, the same rate your Thai neighbours pay.
The result: our base rent stays competitive with smaller studios, and you only pay for what you actually use. Guests who are out exploring most days typically land at THB 150–250 per day; guests who keep every unit running around the clock see THB 300–400. The meter photo is taken together on check-out and reconciled in full transparency against your refundable deposit — the balance returned in cash, on the spot.
It's the same philosophy that has kept us competitive for over a decade: charge only for what you actually use, and let guests control their own comfort.
Built for a month, a season, or longer.
Most of our guests come for 1–3 months over the European winter. They settle in, unpack properly, cook in the kitchen, swim every morning, and get to know the staff. We keep the rates low, the place quiet, and the admin simple so long stays feel like home.
The longer you stay, the better the rate — weekly and fortnightly stays carry a discount that deepens the longer you book. Stays of a month or more are priced individually, so send us your dates for a tailored quote. Returning guests who book with us directly receive a further 5% off.

Are you inside the Sheraton, or separate?
Separate. Sunvillas apartments are independently owned and operated — in the same gated Hua Hin Blue Lagoon compound as the Sheraton, sharing the grounds and lagoon, but not part of the hotel. Guests can access Sheraton facilities — pool, gym, spa, tennis, restaurants — on promotional family rates (from THB 800/day · 2 adults + 2 children) paid directly at the Sheraton Fitness Center.
What's included in a monthly long stay?
The apartment, Wi-Fi, and full use of our 1.25 km lagoon pool. Weekly cleaning service is required for stays over 5 days at THB 800 per clean — fresh linens, towels, and a full refresh mid-week. Electricity and water are metered at THB 7 and THB 30 per unit respectively. A refundable deposit of THB 15,000 is collected on arrival and returned on checkout.
How do I get to Hua Hin town?
Sheraton taxi: THB 300 per trip (up to 4 people). Public shuttle from the resort entrance: under THB 50 per person, every 30 minutes. Ride-hailing apps also cover the area. See Getting Around for the full guide.
How do I pay if I book direct?
Bank transfer (Thai account, we send details on inquiry), international wire, or cash in THB on arrival. Credit card available — we'll confirm which terminals work at time of booking.
Is there medical care nearby?
Yes. Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin is about 25 minutes away — over on the far side of Hua Hin — and used to international patients. Dental and optical clinics are in central Hua Hin. We'll point you to the right place if you need it during your stay.
